The Center for Computational Biology and Bioinformatics (C2B2) is an interdepartmental center at Columbia University whose goal is to catalyze research at the interface between biology and the computational and physical sciences. The research program of the Center spans a diverse collection of disciplines. A key focus is the use of computational and experimental approaches from the fields of Systems and Structure biology to dissect, model and interrogate the molecular interaction networks that underly physiological and pathological cellular phenotypes.
The Center sponsors a PhD program and participates actively in other PhD programs at Columbia University.
Additionally, C2B2 is the host of MAGNet, the National Center for the Multiscale Analysis of Genomic and Cellular Networks.
